Coaches

All of our coaches are registered with Gymnastics Ontario and are certitified by the National Coaching Ceritification Program of Canada

Stephanie Mathers

Head Coach

NCCP Level 3 Certified, Provincial 2 Judge

Stephanie began coaching rhythmic gymnastics in 1993, and has been involved with the sport in Canada for over 20 years. She is a past provincial champion and national level competitor, and is also a licensed Provincial 2 and Special Olympics judge in Ontario.

Carly Orava

Head Special Olympics Coach

Carly was ranked #2 in all of Canada as a member of the Canadian National Team for many years. She has traveled extensively representing Canada in numerous competitions around the world. She is a 4th year Kinesiology student at the University of Western Ontario.

Jessica Duplessis

Competitive and Pre-Competitive Coach

NCCP Level 2 Certified

Jessica competed at the Provincial and National level. She now works with the competitive and pre-competitive athletes. Jessica is studying fine arts at Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto but comes home on the weekends to work with our athletes.

Taylor Blandford - NCCP Level 1 Certified

Taylor was a Provincial Champion in artistic gymnastics who is now trained as a rhythmic gymnastics coach as well. She brings expertise with her as a previous artistic athlete and cheerleader.

Katelyn Duplessis

NCCP Level 1 Certified

Katelyn works with our recreational and pre-competitive athletes. She has coached for Rhythmic Gemstones for the last five years and has extensive experience working with children as a camp counselor. She also competed provincial senior group.
